Lisistrata Lusandiana
Since 2018, Lisistrata Lusandiana has been the director of the Indonesian Visual Art Archive (IVAA) in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. In 2016, she started working as head of programs for IVAA and in 2017, she worked as the director of IVAA’s Archive Festival. She was involved in the 2015 Jogja Biennale as a researcher and assistant-curator, and in the 2017 Jogja Biennale, ‘Age of Hope’, she was the coordinator of the Biennale Forum. She regularly writes for arts & culture magazines, she is the editor of ‘Mata Jendela’ magazine and is involved in various exhibitions, art and research projects. She holds an MA in Religious & Cultural Studies from Sanata Dharma University Yogyakarta, with her MA thesis entitled 'Etnografi Backpacker', a critical study of social mobility and cosmopolitanism. Now Lisistrata is developing a program related to decolonization and the documentation of culture.
