Savitri, Ph.D. “Food isn’t just about eating, it’s about the environment too!” is about the relationship between humans and food, and how they affect the environment and ecosystems in Papua. The episode starts by introducing local and traditional food systems, such as sago, a Papuan food staple, which has come under threath since the introduction of food estates. From there, the discussion will dive further into the complex relation between between humans, food and ecology.
